Punta Galeta is definitely gorgeous! 45 minutes away from Panama City, Colon offers a wonderful view of the Panama Canal. And it is has a rich history as well....not only where my father and grandparents were born! The area that we were in is an education center, offering scholarships for Panamanian university students to come and complete their research credits there, and educating students about the area and the wildlife that live there.
This turtle was a ham!! She kept swimming back and forth in front of me, lifting her head out of the water, waiting for me to take her picture. So of course, I did!
