Ok....it's been an adventure today...got my housing, dropped stuff off, went on a tour of the nature center and lab (amazing by the way). It is GORGEOUS here....I was too overwhelmed to take any pictures, but I will soon. Lidia is super nice, and took me to the grocery store before dropping me back off.

The housing is rudimentary, but it will definitely do. Best thing....I've got internet!!!!!!! I don't feel so isolated now. There's a kitchen, with utensils, pots, pans, everything, so I'll be good. Trips to the grocery store are in my future. :-)

My roommates are cool...the 2 I have met. Young, but alright.

Ok, so I'm starving, so I'm signing off now......Adios!

I'm such a silly girl. Didn't know I'd feel so emotional about arriving here. I mean, this is my heritage...my history...and it feels really good to finally be here...More to come.

It's the day before departure!!! I'm feeling a bit frantic; I haven't even packed yet!! And I still have much to do today...and also try to figure out how I'm going to see Transformers 3 before I leave....:-D

Ok....so I'm really trying something new...a blog. I don't really know what to say, but I figured people would want to know how I'm doing while I'm on my trip. I'm REALLY getting nervous about going, even though when people ask me if I'm excited, I'm like, "Ehhh...." But I really, really AM excited. I think I'm am packing too much though....2 suitcases might be too much, but hey.....only live once, right?? Ok....I've set this up...no one will read it quite so soon, but I gotta go get some things done. Bye!
